Christian Leikert is the CEO of Future Capital with more than eight years experience in venture capital. He currently serves on the board of a US and three German high-tech corporations and has closed syndicated venture rounds totalling more than € 100 million in 17 individual closings. He is member of a national jury for a business plan competition and has coached several start-up companies on strategy and financing. Mr. Leikert has a masters degree (Diplom Kaufmann) in business administration (Diplom Kaufmann) from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich.

Mr. Leimer advises Future Capital and manages his own life science consulting business. He has seven years professional experience in venture capital, and twenty years in pharma research, executive management and merchant banking., mostly in the US. Mr. Leimer has worked as managing director for a pharmacogenomics company and is coach for start-up companies. He advises commercial and non-profit organizations, is cofounder and board member of biotech companies, and has conducted original research. He holds a BS (summa cum laude) and a masters degree in biochemistry from the University of Colorado.
